Each athlete performs a Funcitonal Movement Screen and Performance evaluation to determing their programming needs and movement capability.
Multiple screens are performed throughout the year in our membership program to keep athlete current in their training program.

Assessments are digitally recorded and stored in athlete’s virtual account for easy access and review. Custom programs are delivered to an Athlete’s phone every day. Digital workshops and lesson plans arrive daily on our athlete’s devices, we are our athlete’s 24-7 support network for their success.

Injuries happen and athlete’s deal with many different types of injuries. Our clinic staff have the experience and knowledge to help our athletes recover they work directly with our sports performance coaches to enable our athlete’s in this situation to get their training completed in a safe and effective manner.

Each athlete recieves access to AZ’s 28-Day Kick Start Nutrition program, a daily nutrition education program that athlete’s use to help learn the key nutrition principles they will need to complement their training
program.

Training at Athlete’s Zone is not just limited to an athlete’s body. By training on the NeuroTracker, our athlete’s are able to train their visual skills and improve their neurological processing speed, go to NT website for better description.

Athlete’s in membership program receive customized programming based on testing scores and training goals. On a daily basis, individualized programs are uploaded to our member’s devices for their use that day.

No fixed schedules or rigid training appointment times. You set your training schedule on your own through our scheduling app. Just a couple of clicks on the screen and your booked into training sessions that fit your

Regardless of how old an athlete is, we’ve got programming to match their age and ability level. Our schedule is divided up into different class times that keeps athletes grouped together with other athletes in the same ability
and age range.

Jim Reeves has been a tremendous asset to the Mississauga OHL franchise for over a decade.
JIm Reeves and the staff at Athlete’s Zone have performed fitness testing for the Mississauga OHL prospects every year, along with in-season off-ice training for the team and individual players.
Jim has always had a long term plan for each athlete and their best interests in mind.

Athlete’s Zone is a great place to train for any hockey player. One of the things they do really well here is the attention to detail, the small muscle work you do.

During my international playing career I was always grateful to call Athlete’s Zone my training home in Mississauga.
Athlete’s Zone was always there to coach me through some of my tougher moments in training.
I was always striving for those 1% gains in my game and Athlete’s Zone was huge for me in this aspect, sharing their expertise that transferred directly into my game.

I was initially referred to Athlete’s Zone by another coach, so I met with the staff and was impressed with their approach and the facilities. Fitness has always been an extremely important part of my team’s training cycle, but in the past we were never happy with the level of training or the results we experienced at other facilities.
Athlete’s Zone solved that problem for us.
I was astounded at our in-game fitness levels with next to no formal running program. I saw a huge improvement with our ability to play on the ball in physical games and hold off opposing players in defensive situations.
In hindsight, I wish we would have started our team at a younger age at Athlete’s Zone. training not only supports improved performance for individual players but it also has a noticeable impact on injury prevention, such as ankle, ACL or MCL problems. By starting earlier, we would’ve been much further ahead in our on-field fitness as well as supporting our players in offsetting their risk of injury.
Our program graduated over 30 players to compete at the collegiate level in both Canada and the United States. Athlete’s Zone has helped these players showcase their talents, get recruited, and succeed to their highest level possible.

I was lucky enough to play professional baseball for a decade. Four organizations, three stints with the Canadian National team and continuous travel made for some real inconsistencies in my lifestyle.
My training, however, was always consistent. The time I spent at Athlete’s Zone was the best investment I ever made!

Jim Reeves and Athlete’s Zone were the single most important factor for me to go from being stuck in the minors to playing in the NHL full-time.
