With the information obtained in the initial evaluation, our program develeopment team is able to determine the best day-to-day training program an athlete needs to achieve their performance goals.

Delivered directly to their mobile device, each athlete has all the information they need to be successful in their hands.

Each personalized program is specific to the Functional Movmeent Screen deficit the athlete has, so that the appropriate type of exercises are delivered within the program in every workout.

Your Functional Movement Screen testing is recorded and sent online to your device for your review. Your training program is delivered to your mobile device, where you can enter your testing and training data to add to your personalized training profile within the app. You also recieive a daily recovery session and a daily conditioning session through the same app, giving you additional training plans to complement your time away from Athlete’s Zone. Each morning, you recieive your Athlete’s Zone “Kick Start” Nutrition Education program online, as well as a Daily Breakfast and Lunch Meal Plan, all part of our Nutrition Support Program for our athletes. Added to all these on-line advantages, your training schedule is booked through our on-line app, giving you the flexibility to adjust your weekly training schedule to fit around the other activities in your life.

Athletes at every age need to connect with the people who they interact with in an environment in order to be successful. Whether it’s teachers, family members, personal mentors or anyone else in their life, one thing is very clear; That influencer has a personal investment in the athlete’s life which drives that connection. That perfectly describes the mindset of how everyone at Athlete’s Zone approaches their work with our clientele. We want to connect with each athlete at a level they are comfortable with and that allows us to help them develop their game. Sure, we need to be strict or in-charge throughout the sessions, but more importantly, we need to understand the athlete first as their coach and help them to discover the process of personal development at their level. It’s too easy to be a dictator or run a “punishment-based” program where you eventually get zero buy-in from the athletes and they don’t learn anything. Athlete’s Zone is very different, we recognize each athlete as an individual and treat them accordingly. We expect them to work hard, create an environment that supports this and hold each athlete accountable for their efforts.

The Athlete’s Zone development programs have 3 very simple goals:

1. To teach and reinforce proper technique and exercise execution by our athletes to reduce the likelyhood of injuries and maximize their bodies response to their training efforts.

2. To create an optimal environment for our high performance athletes to develop the habits, skills and physical qualities they need to excel in their sport. We accomplish this through the education and personalization of our program for each athlete as well as mentally challenging them, giving an Athlete’s Zone athlete the confidence and attitude that they are “comfortable being uncomfortable” and can perform under pressure.

3. To ensure our athletes are ready for the demands of their sport by improving their economy of motion and movement skills while maximizing their specific work capacity, speed and power output.

The Athlete’s Zone uses an innovative approach to developing the athlete: building athletic skills and a foundation of efficient movement while staying focused on each athlete’s individual goals.

Our unique athletic development program begins with assessment of an athlete’s movement skills, economy of motion and performance testing. The testing results combined with the athlete’s goals and schedule determines the training program implemented and includes instruction in explosive power, linear and lateral movement skills, agility, coordination, speed, proper core function, intensive energy system conditioning and a comprehensive strength training program designed specifically for athletes.

Our athletes work in small groups and are closely supervised throughout the intense 90-minute training session by the Athlete’s Zone sport development coaches.
